ANCIENT INDIA YAUDHEYAS REPUBLIC BAHUDHANKE COPPER COIN

Bahudhanake was related with the river ganges in the ancient texts. Zoom View.

Yaudheyas were Republic (gana) of ancient Punjab circa 1st Century B.C.E.
AE Unit (Some traces of AR).
Diameter: 18 mm.
Weight: 3.80 gms.

Obverse: Bull standing right to the sacrificial post with Brahmi legends around, "Yaudheyanam Bahudhanake". 

Reverse: Elephant walking to the right with raised trunk, nandipada symbol and follower penon like object above it's back.
